MIDI plc has extended its support to Marsamxett Valetta Regatta Club for another season.
The Marsamxett Valletta Regatta Club has been a regular participant in both the March and September regattas, since the club’s inception. Last season, thanks to MIDI plc’s support, the club invested in further improvements in the club’s own gym, as well as enhanced the club’s general operations.
Adolf Vella, club`s secretary, thanked MIDI plc for their continued support, and said that “such sponsorships are essential for the improvement of clubs like Marsamxett as well as, for as for thedevelopment of this traditional sport.”
MIDI’s Head of Communications, Richard Mifsud said that “we are proud to be associated with the Marsamxett Valletta Regatta Club, one of the most respected rowing clubs in Malta. This partnership forms part of our corporate social responsibility program to support sporting organizations in their endeavor to reach new heights.”
Marsamxett Valletta Regatta Club was established in 1969. The Club steadily represented Valletta, in the traditional regattas and won both aggregate and shields throughout the past years with the latest in September 2007.
